Dogs I’d Like to Have 2

Last time I blogged I started this series called “Dogs I’d Like to Have.”  Today I will be continuing the series.  The dog I will be talking about today is the beautiful, husky.  Now huskies are the most excitable creatures you will ever meet.  Just today I was walking on campus of my university and so happened to stumble by a husky puppy that ran up to me and hugged me.  The owner apologized but it was exactly what I wanted so like it’s all good.  Below is a husky puppy:

Notice the pure cuteness, the attentive ears, the gorgeous eyes.  My girlfriend has a husky and he is the most loving dog I’ve ever met. Below is an article depicting 14 reasons on why these canines are the best. https://www.buzzfeed.com/andyneuenschwander/things-anyone-who-has-a-husky-knows-is-true?utm_term=.uh3vmW4L3#.do3kD4Kq1 .  I never really loved huskies until I met Chase, my girlfriends dog and now he has been automatically been added to my list of favorites. They’re very loyal, playful and love to go on walks.  This is definitely a dog I will get in the future.

Dogs I’d Like to Have Part 1

There are many dogs that have their own qualities that make them great. Today I will be starting a series called “Dogs I’d Like to Have” and it will have a number of “chapters” if you will about the type of dog that I would like to have in the future.  One dog that I have always thought was great is a German Shepherd.

As you can see above, this is a German Shepherd puppy. I’ve always loved this breed of dog because of their loyalty and how they can be trained to be guard dogs. One of my friends has a German Shepherd and he is a very protective dog but also friendly. Attached is an article about the 10 reasons why German Shepherds are good pets. https://www.petsworld.in/blog/10-reasons-why-german-shepherd-is-a-good-family-dog.html

These majestic dogs are an intelligent, protective companion that puts other dog breeds to shame.  Another great thing about German Shepherds is that they require at least 30 minutes of exercise. This will of course help the owners to also to stay in shape because they can go out for runs or walks with their loyal companion.  All in all, German Shepherds make for great companions that, if trained correctly and at an early age, can be a perfect addition to any family.

Best Dog Breeds

What makes a person go for a specific dog breed? Is it their size, the type of hair, their characteristics?  Well in this post I will be telling you which breeds are worth getting and why any breed of dog, no matter how ugly, is still better than a cat.  One of the best breeds of dogs is the Labrador.  No matter what you mix with a Lab you’re bound to get a majestic, beautiful creature of wonder. You get bonus points if you mix a black lab and dachshund. I mean just look at this picture:

If you don’t like this dog everything you stand for is a lie and I probably don’t like you. Frankly, if you don’t like puppies approximately 104% of people will not like you (proven fact and not made up). My other all time favorite breed is a Corgi. They’re those cute dogs with chubby little legs but a normal sized dogs body. If you mix a Corgi with any type of breed you will get a beautiful creation with short little legs.  Although there are cute dogs, there are some that may be less cute than others. For example I find bulldogs to be ugly. But even though they’re ugly I prefer them a million times over a cat. I currently have two cats and I can’t even get them to look my way when I call them. I go over my friends house and his bulldog will come over without me even calling him. You know what I call that? Manners. And Max the bulldog (my friends dog) has manners. My cats don’t. In short, cats are awful and any dog breed, even the ugly bulldog, is better than a dumb cat.

Why would you want an ugly cat when you could have a dog?

If you haven’t heard by now I’m going to tell you something that is common knowledge and you should have known by now; DOGS are better than cats. Notice how I’ve upper-cased every letter in dog and left the cats in the lower case. This is because there is no competition, even in regards to the word belonging to their species, DOGS are superior. This first post is about why you, the reader, the average Joe (or Josephine because I don’t know if you are male or female) should choose a dog over a cat when picking a pet.

Observe these two pictures above. Approximately 326% of people would agree that the puppy observed in the left is far more adorable than the ugly, less aesthetically pleasing cat. Let me put this into perspective for you. Let’s pretend that there are two people who want to date you. One of them is a beautiful, caring and all around good person. They’ve donated to charity. They even volunteer at homeless shelters and are a loyal and smart person. Now let’s compare that to someone who is always negative.  Doesn’t like to interact with anyone. They only talk to you when they need something. They are mean and call you mean names. Which one do you think you would date? That’s right the first option. And guess what, the first option in this case is the puppy.  Not only are they loyal and smart creatures, but if they had a steady income they would probably donate to charity. Unlike cats who only want attention when they need something and wouldn’t donate to charity because they think it’s a waste of money.  If you don’t believe me just read this article  http://www.businessinsider.com/11-reasons-dogs-are-better-than-cats-2014-4 It has 11 reasons about why dogs are superior.

Now I’m going to be honest with you, I’ve only ever owned 1 dog and that was when I was about 4 years old so I have little to no recollection of what he was like. But I will tell you this, I’ve had 3 cats and they are not the ideal pet. When I see a dog it gets about as excited to see me as I get to see it even though we’ve never even met before. It’s like love at first sight except it lasts about 15 seconds before the owner takes it away. Cats don’t care about your existence unless they want food.  In short, I’m not saying that if you get a cat you’re wrong, I’m just saying that if you choose a cat over a dog you’re definitely not right.
